XFX 8800GT ALPHA DOG EDITION 512MB

Now, i also have 3 gigs of ram, an E4500 c2d and a P5B motherboard from ASUS. And one 400 GB hard drive.

Will my 400w PSU be enaugh for all of this?

put simply. No

u might as well get a 750 Watt (any of the good brands) ur 400 Watt will not handle that. so i dont suggest u try

You might consider getting a 750w or 800w for when you want to upgrade. It'll be a lot cheaper to get a bigger one now then a whole new one in the future.

400W is minimum for a 8800GT so yes its enough but not recommended.

Yea. Well, lots of people say lots of things about this issue. Some say that 400 is enaugh, some say dont go below 650 etc..better to be safe than sorry i think.

There is already a redundancy factor built into the minimum power requirements for a card, but, I always say you add atleast 10% onto whatever the min is.  For that system I wouldnt try it with anything less than a 500W from a 'quality' brand.  Emphasis on the word QUALITY!

Enermax
Seasonic
OCZ
Antec

Are the main ones to look at imo
