I like crystal. 16 gyms leaders, 251 pokemon, plus you can beat the guy from orginal. I had 200 hours on that game o.0

i always wanted green. it was like yellow but you could have all ur pokemon follow you like pikachu. but they never released it in the US

My old Intermediate school mate had Pokemon Blue when it came out here, that was uuhh... 1999 from memory, I was eleven or twelve. I'd nick his gameboy at lunch time and play, but I wasn't allowed to wipe his saved games so I'd just play up to the Brock Gym and have to start all over again. Eventually I just got a rom for my computer. About three years later another friend left Pokemon Blue and Yellow at my house, can't remember why or how. I've still got them around somewhere and can play them on my ye olde traditionale "grey brick" Game Boy. I wonder if it's worth anything as an antique or collectors item yet?
I'll say Blue is best just because of the nostaligia.

Haha, Pokémon. I never watched the comics, too infantile for me, but those games were disturbingly addictive, kinda like J-MUDs. Countless hours were wasted on bus trips through Europe dual linking Gameboy Colors and playing Red and Blue, so that's where my votes go. Hooray for nostalgia.
