Considering it is the people who give the government their power (or, at least that's how it's supposed to work), maybe we should figure out what they're trying to do before agreeing with it. Ya?usmarine2005 wrote:
Of course. However, it is not my job or your job to figure out what is needed. I feel you are too quick to dismiss this without giving it a chance.CommieChipmunk wrote:

If you sheeple want to volunteer your information so you can feel safe and secure, go for it. I will not volunteer my information.
Hence the 10 year contract / study. Ya?CrazeD wrote:

Actually, they will just learn how to defeat it. Just like criminals have been figuring out ways to by security since the beginning of time. At best, you catch the dumb ones. At worst, you increase the general knowledge of an otherwise low tech criminal who now has to go high tech. Humans adapt, so why do you think new tech will stop criminals?Sgt.Kyle wrote:
Me either, I agree with most of what you said. Only those who are gonna do something against the law or is a criminal is gonna shit there pants, and be scared shitless.usmarine2005 wrote:
I see no problem with cameras everywhere either.
Are you sure you can pull decent retinal scans from a shitty store cam? How many times do you see crystal clear in HD security camera footage? Much less with the guys eyes nicely lined up...Miguel Diaz wrote:
Yes, security films, photographs of any sort will show you those.CommieChipmunk wrote:
Oh that's right, I forgot, most murderers and serial killers leave behind prints of their irises.... and facial signaturesMiguel Diaz wrote:
1) Irrelevant
2) And...
3) Well lets see, you cant get fingerprints for every crime, but chances are youll have at least 1 of the things above. If they have them in the database, the criminal doesnt get away. Serial killers getting away = more dead people, more dead people = bad.
Gosh! How silly of me!
come on man.
for faces, it seems the software would rebuild a face easier, but eyes?
Im sorry, did you just say the constitution was for white people only? WTF are you even talking about? So i suppose we ignore the whole evolution of American democracy after that?usmarine2005 wrote:
Read the article then. Also, there is a reason it is a 10 year contract. You understand that right?CommieChipmunk wrote:
EDIT: and you still didn't give me a reason why we need it...
Plus, you people keep tossing around "your rights." You do know the rights you are throwing out there were created for white people only? Every man was equal, but then another law made that not the case.
So keep tossing that out there as an example, it is quite humorous.
Is this the people who gave you/us these rights?
"In 1784, five years before he became president of the United States, George Washington, 52, was nearly toothless. So he hired a dentist to transplant nine teeth into his jaw--having extracted them from the mouths of his slaves."
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/culture/ar … 2slave.htm
Wow...they must have be really concerned for the rights of every man.
I guess we should all give up and go home because the people that created the constitution were not perfect. Even though they knew that and allowed provisions for the thing to evolve.
Seriously USM, where do you get this stuff?
Because you people toss around that "fore fathers" and rights BS and it is annoying. You are trying to say we cannot change the constitution. Well guess what, the people who created it found ways around it.golgoj4 wrote:

Just go sit in your liberal corner and continue to destroy America.
There's a difference between "we" as a country, changing the constitution and "they" as an elite group of people changing the constitution.usmarine2005 wrote:

And destroy America how exactly? By questioning questionable technologies that would end up directly impacting my life?
"toss around that 'forefathers' and rights BS"
...seriously? Rights are bullshit aren't they. The government always has my best interests in mind.
I'm done arguing with a wall so this will be my last word on the subject, I think that it never hurts to question those in power or what they are doing. They are running our country and we should have a say in it, not just a vote between two individuals, as their stances will dramatically change throughout their presidency regardless of what they said they believed initially. We shouldn't give them everything they want without putting up a fight if we disagree...
Of course you can question them. But let them try it first ffs. My god. Just saying NO! NO! NO! won't do any good either.

Heaven forbid anyone ever try to come up with solutions without people thinking the government is out to steal their brains.
I clicked on that too, so guess I'm a muppet (whatever that is...).
The easiest way to find terrorists in the US is to monitor who visit Al Jazeera etc. on the internet. Have You thought of that?
That's how they communicate (to see new Jihad videos and read in forums). I don't go there for that reason.

Its not ONLY for terroists. And why would you ask that question? Do you think anyone here is CIA? Do you think they would tell you?Freke1 wrote:

I'm thinking the NSA or CIA will start monitoring You if You click on arabfriendly links too much. That's what I would do if I was in charge of those organisations. Clever me
Also I don't write b*mb, t3rr0r etc. in email. NSA has the largest budget of all intelligence organisations. They must be awesome god at monitoring and properly damn clever also.
No need to end up on some watchlist just because of a few clicks, right?

LOL - I know
I just know that in my country my internet provider has to keep a 1 year tracklog of my internet visits. It's the law. Don't know how it is in the US.
