I'm very suspicious. A lot of companies jump the gun in order to get pre-orders and more money when they know nothing. Take Duke Nukem Forever, that thing's been on pre-order on amazon for the past three years. Though, I'd like to know that they know because usually games companies have to book shelf space many months in advance.

Looking at the picture they assume it's a "Games for Windows" game which is very interesting.

Edit: Ok I've concluded they know nothing. They assume that the developer and the publisher are EA. Looks like they want to jump the gun.

Thats exactly what I thought. 3 months, yet there have been NO previews or trailers released.
I remember that there was a leaked memo or something....but to go from that to releasing the game in March.

Well, it is EA/DICE....so I wouldnt be surprised if it was released that early. "Patch er up lads".

I never pre-order unless they at least have the box art for the picture and I know that it is due for release.

They can't be releasing it that early, the day must be wrong/made up.

Trailers for Bad Company have been going around for 2 years or something, there's no way EA would miss the opportunity to hype up a popular franchise.

There were developer videos and things for BF2 looooong before it came out.

Jord I think you are correct...I have Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for my 360. It is a 5/10. BF2:pc is 8.9/10..

what makes you think they would continue the less popular series(console version of BF) and not continue the king of pc games(BF2)

BF2 was released 2+ years ago, they had plenty of time to make a new engine and start working on BF3, according to some sites the game will be officially announced in January 2008 and there might be a beta in summer

I even heard there are some screenshots in some European magazine
