Alright, my hobby involves building scale models, some think its sad and all, but its what I enjoy.
Post up pics of any models you've built, any scale, any time period.
Here's a few of mine, all 1/35, all Tamiya with exception of image 5 and 6 which are Revell.

I build mostly modern era vehicles, planes and helicopters, yet to build something WWII.

Like wise (I used to build models of cars). I'll have to see if I still have the picture of the 32 Ford I lit on fire, then dropped a huge rock on it. Hilarious.

To the OP: Thats some quality work. Nice job.

Sounds like me with my hornby railway. A Flying scotsman at full speed crashing into Deasel Engine with 3 coaches head on doesnt do them good, but was fun to watch.

I did the HMS Victory (Nelsons ship) when I was a kid, but its covered with dust and half the cannons have fallen off now.

My uncle did the Titanic, put hours into it. Shit loads of little rooms and stuff.

Don't know what happened to it in the end.

Nice, quality work.  Unfortunately, all my models are at home and my digital camera is fubar.

+1 for your effort!! nice work!

I just dont have the patience with all the tiny parts, the model tends to be thrown against the wall after awhile! lol

I bought a Longbow model one day and it was missing a part, but I forgot to call them up about it.  I'll do it someday.  I like to think I was doing a rather good paint job on it though.   Looked good to me.

Sorry to say all my models are close to trash and some of them beyond repair after speniding years in the attic and/or met the hands of uncontrollable toddlers

Actually won an award for a diorama i made after a still from the movie Kelley`s Heroes that showed Oddballs Sherman being repaired by the guy wearing the Fez and Oddball camping with his cheese and wine !

Nice models MOAB, you have some 1337 skills, especially like the fact you took the time to highlight and shade properly

Dude, I have that exact same Tamiya Abrams! I loved painting the desert camo on the commander and gunner for that. I've fallen out of the habit and hate most of my work now. However, I do have a large-ish collection of finished and to be done models.
  • Spitfire Mk II
  • P-38 Lightning
  • P-51D Mustang
  • USS Yorktown
  • HMS Titanic
  • aforementioned M1 Abrams
  • Panzer VI "Tiger"
  • A-7 Corsair
  • Flak 88 (kickass diorama to go along with it)
  • German machine gunners
  • German troops with dogs (fun to paint the German Shepards)To be completed includes:
  • USS Lionfish
  • F-15E Strike Eagle
  • UH-60 Blackhawk

Probably have more, should check my storage boxes.
