I've tried search but couldn't find anything so here's my problem:

i just reinstalled my OS (win xp home). now when playing battlefield i can't switch dpi on my mouse anymore. as soon as BF starts the mouse switches to the highest resolution and this can't be changed untill i quit the game again. i also have installed the newest drivers and the firmware on the mouse is v1.2.

can anybody help me?

no it did it also under firmware 1.1 installed the firmware update hoping this would help - but no change... but thanks for the info i'll try the unplugging

EDIT: unplugging works! so +1 for you. but this can't be the ultimate solution...

2nd EDIT: i now unchecked "use game settings when game is recognized" (sorry for bad translation i have setpoint in german) and now it seems to work without having to unplug the device... but i am 100% shure that this was checked on my old system...
