Wow, 18 knife kills in one round. I pretty much viewed that as impossible. I knew the only place to get it was as Karkand (duh...). So I forgot who said it, but someone said to wait until you're hot before you go for stuff. Well I was hot! So we're about half way done with the round at Moders 64-player Karkand server, and up to that point I probably had only 2 knife kills (I wasn't going for the badge yet, just ran outta ammo on primary weapon). Well, I spawn on my squad leader who is capping the hotel, and I decided to got investigate that corridor where every nade in that game lands. Well, I turn the corner and I see 7 MECs, 4 of which are medics. I think holy crap! So, I do a perfect dolphin dive into them (they were all proning). I then start swinging my arms sooo fast that I could have taken Mohammed Ali down. I racked up 13 knife kills!!!!! The medics could care less what was killing their teamates, they were just happy to get points. So they just kept on reviving their buds, not knowing what was going on. Eventually I died due to a MEC shockpaddle, but I was pumped. 13 knifes in under 30 seconds. That really gets the adreneline pumping!

Frankly, I love pulling out the knife, and it is quite frustrating when you pull it out and then proceed to get n00b t00bed point blank...

But *cough* it's somewhat weird to run around with a knife a whole round ... many rounds too if u r not lucky....

congradu-friken-lations. i hate you. naw just kidding i was in the same kind of medic orgy a few weeks ago but i only got about 5 guys before i was shocked. my friend has over 1200 knife kills but no expert badge. (gotta remember to tease him about that) the only reason i got my vet knife was because i kept schoolin some guy who wanted to knife fight me.

Your right about the above, I was hot too yesterday.
I played at Karkand in a 32 map with 12 other players.
We were killing eachother and capturing flags like hell. I got my Meritorious Unit Ribbon, Valorous Unit Ribbon and Legion of Merit Ribbon in one round.
I had them ready for a long time but couldn't manage the 40+ teampoints.
Now I have a big smile all day!!!!!!!!!!!
let me get this straight... you ran into a group of medics, who let you continously kill them so they could get revive points, and not one of them shot you... hmmmmmmmmmm
Don't just have your knife out the entire round. You are asking for a bullet to the head. If you are good enough, you know when to pull it out and when to get your gun out.
I just got my basic and vet knife badges. I did it on Sharqi and it was soooooooo easy. I think I had 12 kills in a row without being killed, not all were knife kills, but I found it is very very efficient to sneak up on enemes rather than run thru enemy fire(someone posted a topic on this). I ended up with a great score too.

Let me tell you... Pistol it pretty tough but I finally got mine today.
I swear I would hit people 6 times and then they would kill me.
Not to mention all the kill assists (Stolen Kills) that happen...

I got the Basic and Veteran knife badge with out a single Bunnyhop or Dolphin dive, if i can do it like that everybody else can
I didn't get any of my Knife Badges from bunnyhopping or dolphin diving. Only by sneaking up on enemies from behind or from the side while they are stationary or following walking/sprinting in a direction.
If they see you, sprint in a random zig-zag pattern towards them crouching every once in awhile and having a medic bag out to heal you those precious hit points. A lot of the times, they spray all their rounds then bunnyhop in vain trying to evade your circumcising knife attacks. Grenade launching players are especially funny trying to reload after missing not one, but two shots!
Hitting someone while they are moving isn't that hard once you get the hang of how to stab someone. Remember that the knife only points straight out, so if they are circle strafing you, lead them a bit in the direction they are going to go when the knife comes out. Voila! You have your a newly skewered enemy that was once running circles around you. The guys that dolphin dive can really only stab in one predictable direction. I feign strafing left and go right and quickly turn around, crouch, and stab them in the ass.
Snipers and support are my delicacy. Especially if you jump right over them (in front of their face so they see you) and stab them before landing!

yes but dolphin dives do prove very effective while getting the badges.(personnally i have been trying for ages and nver been able to get it)[VS-UK]MrFarmer wrote:
