That is the problem, it's very difficult to find a new band that doesn't suck big time.

look for older bands that you just haven't heard of. i find those all the time. if they're new to you, then that should help fill in the void a bit, eh?

I suppose so.  But it is a bit disappointing to see that all the new bands are crap.
