I just bought a 22-250 rifle today from a gun dealer in spokane WA. i got a very good deal on it considering its the ultra varmint version with a simmons prairie master 6-24x and a $100 bipod. i paid $271 in cash including tax, , i havent shot it yet but im hoping it will be accurate with a fluted bull barrel and a because it has a really good scope. i dont know who that guy is in the picture but he has a damn sexy beard/mustache.

The fluted barrel won't help with accuracy, it is done to save weight. I guess on a 22 it would mostly be cosmetic as weight wouldn't be much of a concern.

I've read that don't know how true it is. On this particular gun I don't believe keeping the barrel cool is going to be a problem unless he is some sort of speed loading freak.

Oh yeh, the gun looks really... "Un-gun-like"... I don't like that colour on it, looks like it has been dropped in white paint and shoddily cleaned... But other than that, it looks good.
