I got a zune i havnt opened yet
and the more i look at the ipod i want it more

so should i keep it or get a 5.5 30gb

the one problem is that i dont want a new model to come out right after christmas thats TOTALLY different..

zune is having it's share of problems..
I go nowhere without my iPod .
Just make sure you get a program like anapod to put your stuff on it so we don't have to read your having problems with it in the tech forums .

Nay to both? Ipods overpriced if you ask me, but if you got the money and you want the look go for it, people say mines kool all the time and mines a 20 gb and i got it for 180, thats alot cheaper than an ipod 30gb and it has a lot more features, hell its cheaper than the 8 gb lol.

My vote goes towards iPod. People always say how the iPod sucks but don't give any reasons. I HATE apple but they make a damn good product. I have had my iPod mini since May 11, 2004 and use it 3 hours a day and it still works good as new. I have dropped it, scratched it, gotten it in water, and countless other things and it works great. Decent battery life, good sound, not breakable, simple and easy controls, and holds plenty of music.

well, you will have to decide yourself. Ipod fanboys are ipod fanboys. If you infact ARENT one of them use a zune. Its a lot better in many ways.

Quite simply my iPods have a proven record for me. It doesn't make me a fanboy because I have a successful history with them..lol. If you want the device that has the most compatibility and accessories available, the iPod is the choice at this time. It would be interesting to have "Full" wireless capabilities with the Zune though. But it's not quite there yet. The Zune looks very promising and at the very least it will compel MS and Apple to push each other forward. I'm just not in a hurry to be the one to work out the preliminary bugs and issues for MS. The FM tuner is nice also but isn't the Zune limited to 30 gb?

i bought my ipod 2 years ago (4th Generation 20GB). apple has had to replace it 4 times (extended warranty ftw), but they replaced it, nqa. its probably because i abused it too much too (taking it skiing, on mountain biking trips, etc.). sound quality is good. i would never get something else. and i will have this ipod untill it fails on me again

I have a Zune. I prefer it over the ipod mostly because of the larger screen and it's user friendlyness. Ifyou want something for more than just music (videos etc) get a zune.
