Figured I'd start a thread for the Battlefield 2 playing gun lovers out there.  Feel free to post pics/videos of your firearms (but please be responsible, don't go pointing guns at living things just for the sake of a picture).

Please only post pictures of weapons you actually own.

Heres the begining of my collection:

My "home defense weapon" ((j/k)): a Romanian WASR-10 AK-47 clone in 7.62x39

My shotgun: a Remy Model 1100 semi auto 12g smoothbore
https://img162.imageshack.us/img162/513/gun3mt9.jpg

https://img166.imageshack.us/img166/6369/gun4cr3.jpg

And a quick video of my first trip to the range with the AK

**EDIT** lol the sound on that video is horrible...

I'm also looking at 1911's and and hoping to get a Springfield MilSpec as my first handgun..o0o

Right now, only a Mossberg 500 12 ga. pump shotty.  No pics, I'll try to add those later.  Had a HK USP 9mm handgun with stainless steel slide, which was a very nice weapon, but sold it when I needed the money.  Looking at a 1911 or a Springfield XD series .45, but it'll be awhile before I can pick it up.

My cousin has an AK very similar to yours and numerous other nice weapons: Mauser 8mm, Springfield XD .40, Remington shotty w/ pistol grip, Mossberg 12 ga., Walther .22 pistol. and his new baby - AR-15.  I want one. *drool*

Separate question: Is concealed carry legal in FL?  Isn't here in Wisconsin, darned liberal governor thinks he knows best.

Those don't work when the home invader has a weapon.  The sound of me putting a round in the chamber of my shotgun and leveling it at his chest will scare him away more than my dog.

Only in the USA.  No offence intended, we just have different laws here in the UK.  I hope you never need to defend your home with it, or have it turned on you whilst defending.

I was lookin at the xD's too, they look nice.  And i've actually requested an application to apply for a concealed weapons permit in FL.  Its alot of paper work and like 115 dollar fee but it is definatly legal here, woo hoo.

Guns were used for home defense long before your so called burglar alarms.  Now dogs could be considered the very first burglar alarm.

Deepsky: Concealed carry is legal in Fl and one state south here in Indiana.  We now offer lifetime carry permits for $125. No concealed carry law in Indiana, you only have to be a permit holder.   Go vote this election.  Your Govorner Doyl needs to go

As for my firearms, nothing special.  I have...
1. Glock mdl 23 .40
2. IMI Uzi Eagle .40--Not an Uzi MG, just a normal pistol
3. Ruger 10/22 .22--New mag, I guess, makes it a 25/22
4. Winchester lever action 30-30
5. Highpoint 9mm rifle

As for my future purchases:
1. AR 15--Probably a Colt or Bushmaster
2. Nice Shotgun for home defense--Maybe a Binelli or Beretta
3. Walther P99 QA .40---Really like the looks of this gun. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I got an old .177 air rifle and a couple of black widow catapults, thats about it with me.

My Dad owns a few shotguns which are in the loft (locked), in padlocked cases (locked obviously), with triggers removed. He's 72, has never broken the law and has to have his house checked out every two years to have his licenses renuwed.  He hasn't shot a clay for 20 years and never will but must be keeping them for their value.

Gun laws here are very strict.  Gun culture in the Uk is rapidly growing.  I know of at least 4 teenage deaths in Oct in the uk.

Why in fucks name would anyone need a) more than one gun or b) guns of the ilk that have been shown here (automatic weapons, etc.)? Why would one be proud of keeping a selection of instruments of death? It's pretty depraved.

PS 'Are you well endowed? Show off your nob!' sister thread anyone?

a) Because its a hobby that includes the element of collecting
b) My AK is not fully automatic as that would break the law (but the bayonettes pretty sweet)

PS I'd win that thread hands down.

Why? Because we can.   Gun collection is a perfectly viable hobby as is having them for the enjoyment of learning the skill of accurate shooting and home protection.  Some people buy rare firearms and put them in glass cases, never firing them.  There's also this thing called hunting which is legal with purchased licenses and is lots of fun, too.

The police exist to mop up, they rarely stop a crime, let alone a home invasion.  I'd rather have the means to defend my family rather than be at the mercy of a criminal.  Depraved?  No.  You, like many liberals, assume guns are evil in and of themselves.  It all depends how they are used.  In the hands of a responsible citizen, a gun is a very good thing.  Responsible is the key word: every gun owner should know how to safely use the weapon and safely store it.  You also show your ignorance about guns by assuming it was full auto.  Full auto is illegal in the US, only semi-auto is allowed, as DeepSky pointed out.

PS Make your own thread about your exploits with your nob.  I'd rather see everyone's gun collection.
