System Clock Help

Ok I am not one to post usually ask for help on here. This how has me stumped. I have been playing 2142 for a couple of days, and then all of a sudden download kicked me out of the game and up popped up this message. The system clock has been set to a time before the game was last run. Please reset your clock.. Anyways who has had this happen please let me know how to resolve this error. I have messed with the clock. repatched, and restart to no avail. Also I searched to find a solution nothing came. Some one redirect me if there is a thread all ready open about this.

Alright bro, here's how you fix it:

175 grams / 6 oz of butter
1 cup of chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of instant coffee powder (optional)]
3 eggs
1 cup of white sugar
1^1/4 cups of flour
1/2 cup of roughly chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180°C, 350°F or gas mark 4. Grease a sponge roll tin or oblong baking dish ...

Then tell what the hell you did before this started happening..

Have you checked to make sure the daylight savings thing is checked in the system clock settings?

Lol, you can drop the beer, we'll survive. I would try a re-install. This should get rid of the error since 2142 would be reset and the time wouldnt have a problem, though I dont see why it had one now.

How's your battery on you motherboard?
Go into your BIOS and verify the date and time is set correctly. That may be the problem. If the battery dies, it fucks up your gaming experience.

yeah to shots of cuervo, seems like i am not the only one with this problem. lots of people on ea's forums bitching about the same thing. fuck i wish i had just bought the fucking game at the store.

well i fixed the problem. installed a little program called atomic clock update which updated my clock. everything seems to be working now.

yea thats what i did, now i just get a fucking cd key error when i try to join a server. this is enough to make me fucking quit playing this stupid fucking game and re download source
