If you're "only" counting IBM compatible PCs: TSeng ET4000 with 256 KB of memory (that was a LOT back then). I still have one of those cards lying arond in case of dire emergency and a need to boot from an ISA slot (not many boards LEFT with ISA though).

I used to really like the old 3DFX cards though, the Voodoo 3 3000 was great and the Voodoo 5 5500 was an awesome card.

it was a tnt2 m64 i didnt understand different models, i thought all tnt2's were the same but it turned out to be the shit one. also i left in the diamond stealth (heaps old mid 90's thing) so i had compatibility issues.
voodoo 2 to run q2 in opengl:p
