If the demo for 2142 will follow suite like how it did with the Battlefield 2 demo, it will come out 2 weeks before the 17th.

Tuesday 3rd October for demo from my source and he was right for the 1.4 patch time and date for UK user's

I've heard the release date as the 13'th. However, I am pretty sure it's going out 2 weeks before the game itself.
