OK, so I have been tinkering around with creating simple plugins for Firefox....
these are my two best so far. I didn't know which gaming site people here preferred, so i made both.


i really don't know much about coding, or file hosting, so here is the best i can do....

Oh, and you need to Unzip them too C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

1Up.com search plugin


IGN.com search plugin


also, please PM me about any bugs that you find(currently none) or requests for other sites.....

Yea, I'm not good enough to make a bf2s.com forum search, the whole search id and that stuff throws me off.

The current guides out there don't tell you how because the search query isn't covered by the url, it's a session variable and cannot be emulated by the search bar.

I've got the main google searches and answers.com so I'm content, but good work making this two.

thanks defiance... yea like you said, i just followed the on line tutorials, but i am hoping to broaden my knowledge of plug ins and the such

Cool! I don't know how to create a search plugin, but I may help with the bf2s forum search:
You can use http://forums.bf2s.com/search.php?actio … r you want to search for "whatever you want" without using the form. You don't need any IDs for that.
