How do you taunt people in BF2..

The Taunts are 3 Different types of laughs.. I've heard them my self in game.. and no one seems to know how to do them..

Me and some people thought that if you spotted a dead enemy, then it would work, but after testing it, it didn't.. -

EDIT - I only tested this with the enemy, after i killed them and spotted their body i asked if they heard anything.. so maybe they cant hear it, but teammates can?

Is it random? or is there a key/combo that you have to do..

I did some research and came up with this..

Simply use the Spot command on a dead enemy and the taunt can be heard.

The rules for how often it can be used are governed by the server’s radio spam settings in the same manner as all player messages. So if you do not hear it every time, this may be the reason why.

Please, if anyone can shine some light onto this topic on how to use the Taunts, then please do.

Yes, there is Taunts, and they are for BF2.. and most likely BF2142..

I've heard them, sounds like guys laughing.. and my squad mates have also heard them.. they seem random, but if anyone knows how to do them.. then tell us..

I would say it means inviting the enemy into your squad and than saying "enemy wheelbarrow spotted" over VOiP, guess I'm wrong...

Throw medpacks/ammopacks/AT Mines on dead bodys.

Oh yea, I was playing Wake... obviosly when I heard one. Me and my SL were camping the bunker @ beach when some guy tosses a grenade in, then he laughs... I was like WTF, standing there to be blown up...

DUDE I HEARD EM TOO,

I thought I was ****ing hearing things....

I was commandering

you have to be a commander and every now and then you hear yourself laugh. I think its if you sit in one spot and dont move for a long time.

Comments from the BF2 support team are that you need to:-
1. Enlist in the 2142 veteran program
2. Use the same account that you sign onto this program in game (BF2)
3. Look at a dead enemy and hit the commo rose for 'spot'

However, I still haven't got it to work (unless you don't hear it yourself) which may be due to:
1. Not having the exact same ingame name (since you can't reg for 2142 with a '-' or a '=' in name)
2. The 'official' EA response - "as with all communications, a maximum amount of voice/text traffic is permitted"
or 3. They are full of shit.
