Su-30 is broken >_<

Okay so as some of you know the Su-30 is the chinese 2 man bomber plane, on daqing, etc.

Well I was playing a daqing 64 map. And decided to do some LGM fun>_>. Well see the problem is, you would see a ground target, lock on , and fire, the lock BREAKS, and the missle either goes wherever it wants, or doesnt even follow the target you locked on. Is there something Im missing here with the Su-30?? The 34 on oman has LGMs and it doesnt "break" the locks or anything..... is the 30 broke or do I have to do something for the lock to stay....?

Nah its just another bug. Happends to me a fair bit too.

May as well steal this thread:

When flying the su-30 and mec bomber, how come after a while o dropping bombs, I go to drop the full 5 load and it only drops 1, then I press the bomb button again and it drops all 4? how do i fix this?

this happens when you reload your retard bombs, but you dont get all 5. say you get 3. then if you release your 3 bombs without getting the last two, after that youre stuck with releasing 1, then 4 with the second click. an odd glitch, for sure.

It seems to happen all the time when you spawn into the plane on a squad leader. Not so much when you actually climb in from the ground.

The thing with the LGM not locking properly is a bug.

Its actually really annoying as it makes them impossible even to manually aim, they start off in some wierd angle which totally ruins the chances of you aiming it.

And there is no way to make it work again apart from ditching the plane for a new one as far as I know.

Whenever im in a tank on Daqing and some1 locks onto me, I jump out for "fear" of an LGM. I was doing this non stop the other day. You lose the lock on (cos its no longer occupied) and I live, and so does my tank.
Every time an LGM was coming at me, it made a massive explosion just off to the left/right of me. Was great.

That might explain it?

jap, exactly. Just crash it (I dont think I have to add you should bail out before crashing)!!! Most times this bug is gone after the jet respawned. Try it. Btw: it is not only a issue with the SU30, happens with F15 (most times on Taraba) too.

Yeah, LGM performance seems to be hit or miss with all of the fighter-bombers in BF2. (FFS... no pun intended)
