I had my computer motherboard changed due to a fault and the technician used two programs to show me that my cpu was working at 2400mhz, one was cpu-z and the other I cant remember.

It seemed to be real time showing fan speeds, temperatures etc.

What programs would you recommend to monitor my system specs...thinking about overclocking in future.

I have a Dell.  It doesn't do overclocking.
