i just installed bf2 and when trying to join an on line server it says my CD key is invalid what does that mean?
If I'm not much mistaken I'd say that your CD key is invalid
Cause? Error during installation or patching (CD key has not been encrypted in registry properly)

i dont paly comp games to much but the cd key is the number on back of manual right?
Correct. When you installed the game you were asked to enter this code. During patching the cd key is encrypted. The problem is that sometimes it isnt encrypted thus bf2 thinks that it is not a valid code.slavik wrote:

Re-ptach. If that does not work then re-install
ok well i fixed that problem i hadnt even put the patches on :p now my game jsut closes down to windows randomley any ideas?
