Yes, it's another chopper video. After seeing this post, I was compelled to share my own experiences with the attack helicopter rockets. This is a short compilation of footage from my solo helicopter flying, which I limited to ground targets. In the future I hope to make a more balanced video, one that includes more than just shooting infantry, but for the time being I hope you enjoy this.

Special thanks to tf-Afrojap for his advice.
P.S - editing is not one of my best abilities, I apologize in advance.

edit - updated with a stream on google video for the lazy folks, but the quality is greatly reduced.

Dude thats the shit, you are an incredible pilot. I'm pretty handy with tv missles, but normal rockets isn't my thing. Looks like you don't have that problem

Updated with a stream on google video. The quality is pretty bad, and half the time I don't even know what I was shooting from watching it.

To answer museseeker, I fly with the keyboard and mouse entirely.

How do u do that. Like that part before the oops. when it looked like you were gonna hit the ground put u flipped it up and around and then hit the wall.. when did u let off the throttle and what not?

I really like it to where u where circle strafing but u could still put the rocket where u wanted it to. U aimed ahead or somethin like that..

lol i love circling shit in heli's,always wanted to know how you spin on the nose mid air without diving though,seen a guy do it ages ago on kubra & never been able to suss out how to do it,he dipped the nose right down & tight circled round mec main flag like he's spinning on an invisible floor mid air,looks impossible move so how its done i aint a clue.

nice vid,your pretty accurate with the main missiles & you got strafing controls nailed,nice work,was worth the download.

yea i have seen that too. In fact i was gunning when a guy all of a sudden just started spinning like crazy downwards. He fired all of his missles in pretty much the same spot and we even were able to pull out of it. I was wondering how he could do it with just a keyboard. I asked him what he used. I mean how would u work the throttle on somethin like that?

one more thing you probably use fraps but i dont get how.......when i turn it on it dramatically reduces my fps no matter what setting i put it on.......and the files ARE HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how do u edit it

You can watch the throttle control on the left side of the hud, right side is the vertical speed indicator. Other than that I wouldn't know how to explain it. I'll probably include more of that kind of thing if I do another video.

theres no way to get around the slowdown while you're recording, that's why this video is kind of choppy. To get the file size down you need to convert it to a different format, I used windows movie maker, which I believe comes standard on pcs with windows.
