I guess this is kind of a complaint and also a improvement suggestion. The unlockable weapon for Support is a PKM. Not a bad weapon I suppose, but I would have liked to seen an M240 instead. This is in high use with both the USMC, US Army, and I also believe SAS, SBS and Royal Marines. Same caliber as the PKM as well.
well i guess, but the M249 SAW is impressive already
Errr the unlock of the PKM for the support class is a GENERAL Purpose Machine Gun ie its good for all situations where as the M249 SAW is the squad based support weapon.
Example:
If you need Cover Fire to move from position to position the M249 SAW does the job.
Example:
If you need to hold a beach head or Trench from the enemy until back up arrives then the General Purpose Machine Gun is the best bet as it has more stopping power.
Thats the primary difference in terms of words and there use. Although in real life you will find one guy with the SAW and maybe one guy with a General Purpose.
