We owe a hella lot to the baby-boom generation. America could have just settled for mediocrity like the WWII and WWI generations were willing to do.
Please list specifically what the baby boomers have done to push past mediocrity. I think you'll find that the most influential people during those times were a result of the leaders wwii produced, as they got older.
