Agree with OP, the new ones are a mess.

The hatchback is sexy, but I do prefer the older ones. Those gold rims are an affront to society though.

I agree, it was the MR edition that I rode in. Shifted smooth as silk. Amazing, but I rather the GSR due to having a true manual...

Not having to think about shifting and having the ability for my car to have perfect shifts allowing maximum boost is better IMO than having a traditional manual transmission.

Wow. I didn't notice the "t" and "i" weren't capitalized and since it was a Macbeth topic, thought it was about STIs. Needless to say, I was horrified when I clicked on it and a picture was loading.

On topic: I never really liked them in the past, but the new version made me realize it's actually pretty good looking. Evo X is one of the few Lancer versions I've ever thought were good looking either.

why is everyone horrified when Macbeth posts a topic? granted, the ones in DAST are a little more straight up . . .
i recently turned 100,000 miles over on my car, and have contemplated getting a new one (it's a 2003). good for us, good for the economy, etc.

here's what i don't understand - they will sell me a chevy camaro (which doesn't do bad on mpg if you get the ball less one) but we can't get models that are available in Europe, Asia, or Australia. i'm not asking for an Enzo with the price tag of an Escort, i am just curious what the difference is . . .

STI's are only cars you buy for looks if your a fucking little wanna be import kid.

Real world they are all ugly and only made for driving. Its lucky they are damn good at that.
