It seems that everyone and their pet dog have gotten 2 extra unlocks but I have not. I have tried logging in and out connecting and reconnecting to servers and am not getting the 2 extra unlocks. Is anyone else having this same issue?
just wait for the patch to come out. No one can even use the "new" unlocks. Don't worry about it.

likely the ppl who cant use the two new unlocks have already unlocked all the other guns... the ones who say they can are not using the 2 new guns but other guns they had not unlocked yet... i myself am just gunna wait for patch cause i want p90
So if you're using the P90 or the L96A2, then post pictures. Back up your claims.
THey didnt say they had the P90 they just said they got 2 unlocks ---> they just unlocked 2 guns that are already available like mp7, g36e or jackhammer.

OK, let's clear this up.
You can use the unlocks, IF you selected any of the CURRENT unlocks in the game.
You CAN select the P90 or L96A2, but you won't be able to use THEM.

Well to make things even more interesting...
1) I'm not a beta tester....
2) I got 2 unlocks and pick the last two... (DOA-12 and the SF engineer unlock)
3) In game I could only use one.
4) The next day, the MP7 was not available anymore...
5) At least another player in my squad at the same thing while another with more time but less points then me still have his two unlocks that he can use.
6) I guess we will all see soon what EA did to allow you to get the unlocks... I have a feeling there will be badge requirements to get unlocks....

OK is there anyone like me that hasn't had a popup and drum roll in BF2 telling them they have 2 new unlocks?
I havent gotten my unlocks either. Do you have to have special forces?
