I don't own a whole lot of games or movies so give me ideas on what I should find online to entertain me.

Band of Brothers. Must see.

Deus Ex - single-player game. Slow to start. Gets truly awesome at about the 4th 'mission' in. A must play.

You can actually buy it at many shops for about $5 but the original makers are defunct and don't receive any money for it.

SupCom - opposite of Company of Heroes. Sci-fi RTS where you manage entire armies. As opposed to a single combined arms WW2 company.

Left 4 Dead is a great romp. You will tire of it after a few weeks. But they will be a nice few weeks, trust me.

Battle Star Galactica is the best Si Fi series ever. If your into that kind of thing. Start with the Mini Series, then Season 1.

BSG is only great if you watch it within a small frame of time.

I watched the mini-series and series 1-3 over the course of 3 weeks and enjoyed them all immensely.

Tried to watch season 4 recently and couldn't get into it again.

Wtf Docta.

Srsly.... Idk... Download it right now or something. Go to the shops and buy a boxed set. I got it on recommendations and it blew my expectations out of the water. It's the single most epic depiction of WW2 on film ever made. I'd love to see similar stories researched and presented on film for a British, Russian, German, Australian, Canadian and Japanese unit of soldiers too but that wont happen.

All 6 seasons of 24 so you can catch up with the 7th!

(I must warn you, season 5 and 6 are not as great as the others)

I was considering Empire myself but the company sells the game incomplete, even at a whopping ~11.5GB without certain things(A lot of the sound), they are patched into the game after you install it through an internet update in order to combat.  The Razor version of the torrent sounds like shit I heard even with the sound fix.

Picture every awesome world war 2 movie you've ever seen. Then make them all even more awesome. Then put in the knowledge that it's a very well researched true story with documentation for it easily accessible (I've looked). The add a little more awesome. Then add footage of the surviving members of the unit talking about what happened. Little bit of extra awesome goes in here.

Then make it 10 hours long. Training through to the months after victory, every major and many minor events shown.

Idk, maybe it's because I've grown up reading WW2 history (mostly Europe/North Africa... a little SE Asia thrown in for the Aussie war there) but I loved it. Still watch it every 2/3 months... 2 years after buying it.
