You must construct additional pylons. We wont be able to hold them all.

They need to add a page 3 to the inventory... my page 2 is nearly full and I use page 1 for craftingSpidery_Yoda wrote:
New maps, new Engy buildings and new Meet the Team video is what i'm looking forward to.
It sounds like it shouldn't be long now.

keep telling yourself that. looks like they're realllly concerned with game-balance and finesse at the moment, doesn't it? no. they're developing an inane and irrelevant crafting system and adding more comedy-hats to the game. get real. tf2 stopped being a serious platform for competitive, balanced play about 3 patches ago.Trotskygrad wrote:

Of course not.
Since when does valve care about balance?
They're only going to balance everything after the engy update.
Who cares about competitive gaming anyway?Uzique wrote:

The Engineer Update is going to add new Engy buildings. Or at least that's the assumption.War Man wrote:
What new engineer buildings?
At least 1 new building has been semi-confirmed... the dispenser replacement which will probably be a repair node if valve can work out how they want to do it (they stated that beta trials had proven a normal dispenser FAR too valuable as a team support tool, and removing the healing and resupply function had pissed off teammates)Spidery_Yoda wrote:

i mean 'competitive' in the sense that, the main object in gameplay is to win over the enemy teamFloppY_ wrote:

We all agree that it could have been done better...Spidery_Yoda wrote:
I started worrying about the direction (of the asthetics at least) back when the Heavy Update came out. First it was the KGB and the Sandvich, and then the energy drink (in 1968?) and the baseball. I didn't like the way it was going at all.
But then I just accepted it I guess, and by now when they add modern day earphones and the brain slug from Futurama I barely even notice because the original style, time and theme is so long gone it doesn't really bother me anymore.
But that said, i'm a sucker for new content. I always enjoy using new weapons and finding new ways to play the game. So bring on the Engineer Update I say.
I assume you mean 3 updates ago...not patches.Uzique wrote:

Yeah it really sucks that hats are so unoptainable...globefish23 wrote:
The only thing I really hate are the hats, and the prospect that useless cosmetic crap will be the biggest part of all future updates.
I'm a collector in all games, and generally try to get and achieve everything that can be.
But now with this silly amount of hats, that can only be collected in their entirety if you have no life and have been playing continuously since 1968, I really feel that they shouldn't have included them at all.
Because what good is it if you have one or two random hats (if any), but are constantly teased by seeing another one that you actually really want?
I like all the new weapons, as it's easier to get them, either by random drops or crafting the other random crap.
Valve aren't making hats anymore. The last few batches have all been community-made and the next ones will be too.globefish23 wrote:
